Written By You.
Time is so vast yet swiftly moves
You cannot tinker with it as it is the script of life
That plays upon the stage
Of this murky sphere
Accompanied by the liveliest of audiences
That we call humanity
Yet it is we who write it
Before the Hand above
Every move you take moulds itself upon the stage
Followed by eager eyes
But tell me, how artistic are you?
Does the script orchestrate you?
Or do you orchestrate the script?
Tell me, what’s the plot of your tale?
Do you act out a tragedy?
Or are you a king in fantasy?
Or perhaps even a jester of love
Bringing forth joy to the world, your audience
How confident do you move on stage?
How many risks will you take?
Moving through your scenes
Following what is written
But then you falter
And that alters the script
But not to worry, as the show must go on!
Quickly does the play reach its end
And there you are a character in conclusion
But you’ve just begun
You cannot start over
As the stage is booked only once
You could have done better?
Maybe, but the judgement has been made
Now time comes to take a bow
As the curtains draw to a close
Bouquets are thrown
Like soil upon a grave
A character once known
In a once life-filled play
